Meet Stanley and Buddy, two happy pets in Kari Z's house.
Stanley is our 2.5 year old cat who came to us at Christmas a couple years ago as a gift to our daughters. We got him as a friend to our older cat who has since passed away. Stanley tries to spend equal time with everyone, but it’s hard. He’s a friendly guy who loves sleeping on the radiators, in boxes, and on my laptop when I leave the room.

Buddy
is our rescue hound mix who came to us around Thanksgiving 2023. He’s very
treat motivated and smart, but we haven’t trained him to do much more than
shake and sit (which he came to us knowing). It’s hard to tell which one
is in charge. Buddy likes to chase Stanley. Stanley will hide just
beyond reach and taunt him. We’re hoping eventually they snuggle together, but
so far, it’s just parallel sleeping in the same room.
