The Poison Book Project (be careful with green)

To help call attention to ALA's Preservation Week (April 28-May 4), American Libraries Call Number podcast recently covered an interesting project between a museum and university library around toxic bookbinding materials from the 1800s. Check out the Poison Book Project from the University of Delaware and the Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library. I don't know if you have any books in your collection that might fall into this category, but it's an interesting read regardless.
